When Dr. Henry Biney(CEO PoshBee International)traveled from London to Uganda, his meeting with Prof. Patrick Ogwang Engeu(Managing Director of Jena Herbals Limited) marked more than just a business move—it was the birth of a global vision:
to take Uganda’s herbal remedies to the world, while keeping Africans at the heart of the mission.
Jena Herbals Limited is a Ugandan-based herbal research and manufacturing company dedicated to developing safe, effective, and natural remedies for modern health challenges. Established under the leadership of Professor Patrick Ogwang Engeu, Jena has become a household name in herbal wellness across Uganda and East Africa.
Jena Herbals is best known for developing Covidex, the herbal medicine that became a symbol of hope during the COVID-19 pandemic. Covidex gained national and international recognition for saving many lives, cementing Jena’s reputation as a leader in innovative, science-backed African herbal medicine.
